I always had the interest of reviewing gadgets and just stuff that I own, so I deceided to make a little Youtube channel and post some small videos. In the process I decided to start making some tutorials. This is the very first one: How do I organize an editing project and the project folders?
This is just a little side project of mine, so all the videos are made within a day without any great preparation. I hope you like it anyway, and please feel free to ask questions, post feedback and (if you like) subscribe.
This is it: The highspeed carchase with explosions, crashes, a hot chick…but no real cars!
This film was made for a Volkswagen Competition. Until the 11th of November 2012 you still can vote for my team and I on Facebook (just use this link). We put quite some effort in this film: three days of building the cars, two shooting days and just one editing and postproduction day. As you might know I’ve just been in Johannesburg, South Africa. Up to now I wasn’t allowed to tell anything about that job, but now I can tell you: I was shooting with MacGyver. Yes, THE MacGyver!
I shot and edited this Behind the Scenes video together with director Svensson. The version you’ll find on the Mercedes and youtube page is of course the client version. Check out the Director’s Cut after the link.
So this is it the first day to / in Africa. I flew via Dubai, so it actually was a little strange not to board the plane to Indonesia.
And finally after a five hour waiting period I went on the next eight hours flight to Africa. Greeted with a nice burger for dinner, I set up a little basecamp in my room. I’m really excited how this trip is going to turn out, and the very first thing I have to say about this place: Everyone is really nice!
The project for the animal rights organisation NOAH, on which director Svensson and I were working on, just got another couple of awards. Check out the film on IAMSVENSSON.com
